Pachaug State Forest Motorcycle Trail (Chapman Area)

A 58-mile designated motorcycle (enduro) loop through Connecticut's largest state forest, mixing woods trail and public roads. Because it uses roads, bikes must be street-legal and plated; it is the only state-forest riding for motorcycles in CT. Not open to ATVs or side-by-sides.

Thomaston Dam Trail Bike Area (U.S. Army Corps of Engineers)

The only public off-road trail-bike area in Connecticut, on Army Corps of Engineers flood-control land along the Naugatuck River. About 13 miles of designated trails west of the river; CT DEEP names it the sole listed site for two-wheeled trail bikes. Dirt bikes only, no quads.

Member-run motocross club founded in 1967 and one of Connecticut's only active MX tracks. Hosts NESC motocross rounds, QuadCross New England ATV motocross and other events; non-members ride on race days or select practice dates.

Milford Riders Motorcycle Club

Private members-only motocross club in Milford (founded c.1950 with a groomed track and dedicated PeeWee nights. Active in 2026 with a Fall Series; not open to the public for walk-up practice.
